What You'll Do:

- Process supplier invoices promptly and accurately.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure all documentation is complete.
- Verify invoice details for accuracy, including prices and payment terms.
- Provide professional and timely responses to supplier inquiries, resolving any issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper invoice authorization and coding.
- Keep supplier records up-to-date, including contact info and payment terms.
- Assist with payment runs, including proposals, cheques, BACS, and online transactions.
- Play a role in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Contribute ideas for streamlining and automating purchase ledger activities.

What You Need:

- AAT Level 1 or similar finance-related qualifications (desirable).
- Proven experience in Purchase Ledger or accounts payable roles.
- Strong grasp of purchase ledger processes and activities.
- Sharp numerical and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Great written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance.
