Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading electrical engineering company in the recruitment of a Resources Administrator. As a Resources Administrator you are responsible for ensuring all site-based operatives are provided with the correct equipment and PPE for all work activities, jobs & projects along with managing and providing necessary information for audit purposes.

This role is an important position within the Reports and Operations Department in line with the growth and development, quality, profitability, and customer focus objectives of the business.

Responsibilities include:

- Working closely with the Operations Resources Manager to ensure the Field Engineers all receive necessary information to complete their onsite duties effectively.
- Work within the Operations Department to deliver business objectives in line with the company business plan.
- To liaise with the field operations team through the Planning and Operations Managers to compile and distribute existing reports and drawings for each inspection team.
- Providing monthly group reports as required and co-ordinating with key members
- Manage and maintain all equipment inspections and fleet databases, providing monthly group reports as required.
- Manage and maintain Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) - Ensuring PPE is the correct standard to protect individuals from workplace hazards, old for new policy is maintained, all PPE is signed for, training provided for correct use, storage, and reporting of lost and defective items.
- Manage equipment calibration and auditing systems with the operational teams to ensure full traceability for all onsite equipment and materials.
- Organise, undertake, and monitor accident investigation processes. Ensuring the correct information is provided following any accident, incident or near miss. Any anomalies to be discussed with person responsible to close out the investigation.
- Ensuring that the fleet of vehicles are operating in accordance with legislation and regulations.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of vehicle inspections and services, managing strict vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules to minimise downtime.
- Communicating with Insurance Brokers and organising appropriate actions for all fleet related accidents
- Monitoring Driver behaviour and supporting with any disciplinary action where necessary.
- Monitoring fleet costs and ensuring that the company is getting value for money for the service provided.
- Organising, posting, and couriering of various items to the engineer’s home address upon request
- Actively participate in team meetings to get correct information flow, future and on-going support & project activities, problems, and opportunities.
- Monitor your personal KPIs to ensure you meet business objects on turnaround times for reports and website updates.

- Possess in-depth knowledge of general safety guidelines.
- Strong computer knowledge, confident in using Microsoft suite.

Your working week will be made up of the following hours; Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm and you will be office based within their north Sheffield office.
