**Company Overview**
Creative Spark, a small family-run business located on the outskirts of Horsham, was established in 2015. With a background in the theatre and events industry, we offer specialised technical production services and prioritise exceptional customer service in every project we undertake. Our warehouse and offices in Plummers Plain serve as the hub for our operations, but our services extend across the country. Over the years, we have expanded our offerings to include installations and technical support for venues, earning NICEIC accreditation in 2013. As we continue to grow, our aim is to bring something new and different to the market place.
**The Role**
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company where you will have the chance to play a significant role in continuing our growth and success. You will have the opportunity to take on diverse responsibilities and wear multiple hats, giving lots of potential for progression.
The technical projects co-ordinator will be a key team member of the team working closely with the Directors to support both the Events and Venue Support departments. The role will focus more on events, liaising with clients to provide bespoke quotes for a range of projects from corporate events to private parties; but will also support the growth of our venue support services, assisting with quotations, logistics and project work where needed.
**Reports To**
The technical project co-ordinator will report to the company directors.
**Overview of Responsibilities and Duties**
- Create proposals, quotations and budgets for a full range of projects and live events, including site meetings and client visits as required
- Assisting with the creation of maintenance and installation proposals, including product specification and costing
- Project support in all areas of delivering a project; to include, equipment specifications, ordering parts, crew schedules and booking, logistics, arranging access and sub-hired equipment, and transport requirements
- Prepare all paperwork and keep job files for each project updated and available for input from other team members
- Providing pre-production, pre-fabrication, systems design, equipment preparation, at the Company’s offices / warehouse, for a broad range of projects
- Oversee equipment and crew on-site. Liaise with the customer and source all relevant details (in particular identifying exceptional requirements) and communicate these to the crew, sub-contractors and Project Managers, in a timely manner
- Being knowledgeable about the services offered by Creative Spark Services Ltd and identifying potential projects and sales opportunities for the Company, feeding information back to the Company Directors
- Provide feedback within immediate team and to Company Directors of any areas of improvement, development or growth of the business identified. Take a role within the team in problem solving and contribute to team & business improvement
- Keep all work-related information confidential and acting in a professional manner at all times, in all work and industry-social situations

- Ensure that the Company’s policies, rules, procedures and obligations are observed in carrying out the above duties

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Essential_
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a technical role in the theatre or events industry
- Educated to a good level with academic qualifications in Maths & English
- Good working knowledge of full range of lighting, sound, video and staging/rigging setups/systems
- PC Literate
- Full UK Driving License (due to the rural location of our offices you will also need your own transport)
- Good electrical knowledge

- Demonstrable ability in live audio engineering, particularly using Allen and Heath SQ desks
- Demonstrable ability in lighting operation and programming particularly using Avolites titan consoles
