The Programmes and Partnerships Coordinator will manage our Future Leaders hub in Norwich and develop relationships with schools, colleges and other partners in
Cambridge, Norwich and across the East of England. You will help us extend Villiers
Park’s reach and impact, so that we can enable more young people from under
- represented and disadvantaged backgrounds to realise their potential.

**Organisational Values**

Fairness: We strive for justice and argue unwaveringly for fairness in a world of compromise, prejudice, inequality and deeply entrenched disadvantage.

Empowerment: We are passionate about working with individuals to enable them to find the skills and resources within themselves to flourish and have healthy futures.

Aspiration: We continually seek ways to improve what we do, how we do it, and the impact we have on the world around us..

Courage: We create an environment where we can be courageous by speaking and listening openly. We know that courage means taking risks and support others to learn.

**Who we are**:
Villiers Park Educational Trust is a national social mobility charity committed to empowering young people to realise their potential. We've been working with underrepresented young people in areas with historically low access to higher education and careers opportunities since 1909, helping them to achieve better life outcomes.

**What we do**:
We are experts in working with young people aged 14-19 from underrepresented backgrounds. We believe every young person should have an equal opportunity to excel at school, at university and into their careers. Our unique and highly-tailored programmes increase aspirations for learning and motivation, develop academic, employability and personal skills and raise attainment.

**Where we work**:
We work in areas with historically low participation in higher education and persistently high levels of deprivation, ensuring that young people aren't disadvantaged by the postcode lottery.

Our Hub Locations:

- Tyneside
- Norwich
- Swindon
- Cambridge
- Hastings & Bexhill

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Programme Coordination:_

Collaborate with the Assistant Director on the planning, management and delivery of the Trust’s programmes in Norwich and the East of England. Scope out the potential for a regional hub in Cambridge and/or across the East of
England, that builds on the current Future Leaders Programme in Norwich and understands need across the region, contributing towards a business case for the
Trust to consider in 2024. Coach a cohort of Future Leaders, young people from under-represented and disadvantaged backgrounds whom partner schools nominate onto the programme, and lead workshops and events.
Plan and organise trips and activities for students in Norwich and Cambridge, including insights into Higher Education and Careers, and an annual celebration event.
Line-manage the Progression Coach, Norwich and actively contribute to their professional development.
Collect, maintain and report on data for the Norwich Future Leaders programme, and other activities across the East of England, and support the evaluation of regional hubs and national programmes.
- Partnership Development:_

Build and manage relationships with partner organisations in the East of England, including schools, colleges, universities and third-sector partners.
Lead Villiers Park’s organisation-wide approach to extend its reach digitally, working cross-team and with the digital steering group to identify opportunities to extend the Trust’s new digital platform beyond current partner schools and hubs.
Utilise the Trust’s CRM to identify, track and coordinate relationships with potential school and college partners.
Collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Trust Fundraising
Manager to identify and develop relationships with current and new funders that can support the Trust’s work.
Coordinate corporate volunteering activities with the Corporate Partnerships
Manager for careers insight days and events in the East of England.
Seek out and participate in relevant networks, identifying opportunities for the
Trust to develop relevant partnerships and extend its reach.
Seek out opportunities to build the Trust’s profile, collaborating with the
Communications Manager on potential case studies and promotion of Villiers Park to current and future beneficiaries.
- Other Responsibilities:_

Ensure compliance with GDPR, data protection legislation and Villiers Park’s data protection and privacy policies.
