We are looking to recruit highly motivated individuals keen to develop their skills within Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) (Health Visitor). If you are passionate about the public health agenda, can adopt a think family approach to your interventions and have a desire to improve health outcomes for children and young people, this may be the career choice for you.

You will need to be a current NMC registrant (or about to qualify) in any branch of nursing or midwifery and meet the academic requirements of the university.

There are opportunities across the three localities of Shropshire (North, South & Central) and Dudley:
For Dudley the base is Cross Street Health Centre, Dudley, DY1 1RN
For Telford the base is Leonard Street HV Base, Telford, TF2 6EU
For Shrewsbury there are three bases;
- Central Team
- Coral House, Shrewsbury
North Team
- Oswestry/Whitchurch HV bases
South Team
- Bridgenorth/Ludlow HV Base

Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust provides community-based health services for adults and children in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and some services in surrounding areas too. These range from district nursing, health visiting and running four community hospitals through to providing very specialist community care through talented and dedicated staff.
