We're expanding our HR team and looking for a Regional HR Advisor to join us.
As a Regional HR Advisor you'll be an integral part of our dealership and fleet operations teams, working as a trusted partner to our General Managers you'll also have the opportunity to work on projects coving the full range of people activities.
You'll be working with our HR team and have input in all areas of the people strategy from Employee Engagement, Succession Planning, and Learning & Development to Employee Relations, Reward and HR Analytics.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Policy writing to support with the launch of an updated employee handbook
- ER support for General Managers provided both on site face to face and over the phone
- Policy and process communication across all levels of the organisation
- Act as first point of call for line managers in regards ER issues, supporting managers with any Grievance situation ensuring compliance and quality investigation takes place and is completed with sufficient detail.
- Advise and support managers with disciplinary processes, providing meeting structures, process advice, support with note taking where required.
- Ensure ACAS code and company policy are followed to minimise exposure to the business.
- Support new and developing managers with disciplinary processes
- Redundancy support, providing documents, support and ensure meaningful consultation takes place whilst supporting managers through the process.
- Support Managers through the flexible working process ensuring our practices are in line with the most recent legislation.
- Proactively manage the Long Term Sick case load arranging absence reviews with employees on long term sick, including occupational health assessments where appropriate.
- Advise line managers in regards to frequent short term absence and educate the management population to be able to tackle persistent short term sickness absence.
- Review where appropriate the new starter medical questionnaire and agree any reasonable adjustments following employees declarations.
- Support managers through the running of performance management processes with team members advising to ensure the correct level of detail is provided during reviews and documented appropriately.
- Coach managers to have difficult conversations around performance whist upskilling them to confidently run the performance management process.
Manager Guides
- Produce written documentation to give managers the resources to deal with the most common people management issues e.g. probation, sickness absence, time keeping etc.
- Production of monthly HR Stats packs including LTO, diversity stats, absence rates & Holiday uptake.
- You'll have a proven track record in a Regional HR Advisor role
- You'll have a real desire to get involved in all areas of HR
- Will have a background working as a HR Advisor in a Retail, Hospitality or multisite Automotive business
- Have a passion for HR and aspirations to develop in the role.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
