Sitting across our three business lines; Civil, Defence and Engines at our East Cowes manufacturing plants you’ll do just that. Established in 1901, one of our older production sites with a workforce of circa 800 employees. Our East Cowes plants, Isle of Wight are where we design, manufacture, test and repair high performance structures and systems. We have two facilities on the Island; Falcon Yard, Ferry Road and Osborne Site, Saunders Way. Both locations employ the company’s distinct competencies in major assemblies and composite structures for the global aerospace market. Our customer base includes Airbus, Astronics, BAE Systems, Boeing, Bombardier Aerospace, Cessna, Cobham, Honeywell, Leonardo, Lockheed Martin, Rolls Royce and Triumph.
Job Summary

Reporting in to the Programme Manager, the Programme Support Officer will be based out our East Cowes site on the Isle of Wight. The successful incumbent will be based out of our East Cowes office Monday to Thursday and will have the opportunity to work from home on a Friday. The Programme Support Officer will need to be flexible with ad-hoc national and international travel. The Programme Support Officer will support the day to day program operations of the business and be responsible for the administration and activities associated with control and monitoring of progress, scope, cost and resource management within the program.
Job Responsibilities
- Compiling and follow up work breakdown structure, organization breakdown structure, and cost breakdown structure schedules/ plans for the program.
- Control and monitoring on progress, scope, costs and resource management and allocation for the program.
- Based on analysis, initiating of improvements/ recoveries on on-time delivery and quality from Customer Scorecards / delivery schedule adherence etc in close collaboration with the responsible disciplines.
- Preparing and maintaining the customer outlook for budgeting purposes.
- Preparing the demand for operations, including required performance measures and preparing the handshake agreements with the performance site.
- Supporting Risk and Opportunity Management activities and managing the risk register to control and mitigate the risk exposure.
- Establishing and controlling robust document management in the IPT and towards/ from the customer.
- Support creation, coordination and delivery of (change) proposals to customer requests.
- Preparing and analyzing the Program Performance Summary and initiating actions in case of deviations.

**Essential**:
Previous experience within a customer facing role

Demonstrable experience of communicating with key stakeholders

GCSE level Maths of English - Grade C or Grade 4 and above

**Proficient in Microsoft Packages**: Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook

**Desirable**:
Previous experience using an ERP or SAP systems

Background working with the aviation or engineering industry

Demonstrable Programme or Project Management experience

Willingness to travel on a ad-hoc basis at potentially short notice
