Learning Monitor

This role requires someone who is able to work 8:30-3:30, 2-4 days per week. This role is offering a salary of £80-85 per day (inc holiday pay).
Responsibilities and duties:
Working alongside classroom teachers to support the behaviour of identified pupils
Assisting with inclusion activities
Assisting with the differentiation of lessons
Working 1:1 or with small groups with pupils who have a diagnosis of PMLD/SLD.
Using de-escalation techniques to ensure pupils are calm and able to access the full range of education offered
Providing a positive role model for young people
Providing feedback and helping with assessments
Essential Criteria:
Excellent behaviour management skills
Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)
Two recent child based references and relevant DBS/Police checks
A valid Team Teach certificate isn't essential but would be an advantage
Experience of THRIVE isn't essential but would be an advantage
Able to work 8.30-3.30, at least 2 days per week term time only
At least 12 months experience working with children with SEN.
A proven ability to work on their own initiative.
To be patient, caring and attentive

Successful applicants will be required to undergo checks including reference checks, TRA checksand will need to have a DBS; there will also be a face to face interview.
Five Education do not believe in using umbrella bodies, we use PAYE and how this isn’t comparable with umbrella body pay and that there is no admin fee as with Umbrella bodies and Five Education pay employers national insurance on top of the salary. Pleasenote pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
