**Recovery Practitioner (ODP) - Temporary Position**:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Recovery Practitioner (ODP) to join our team at Circle Health Group. This is a temporary position based at King's Park Hospital in Stirling, South Scotland. If you are a qualified ODP and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, this opportunity is perfect for you.

As a Recovery Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients throughout their surgical journey. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure the smooth running of the operating theatre, while maintaining a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting with the preparation of the operating theatre, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.
- Assessing patients' physical and psychological well-being before, during, and after surgery.
- Administering medication and anesthesia under the supervision of a qualified anesthetist.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding promptly to any changes or complications.
- Assisting the surgical team during procedures, ensuring all instruments and equipment are handled safely and sterilized appropriately.
- Providing post-operative care and support to patients as they recover from surgery.
- Documenting all patient interactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the holistic well-being of patients.

**Required qualifications and experience**:

- Registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Relevant post-qualification experience in a surgical setting.
- Excellent understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia administration and medication management.
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
