As a Recovery Practitioner (ODP), you will play a crucial role in supporting the perioperative care of patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure the smooth and safe recovery of patients post-surgery. This temporary position is the perfect opportunity for an ODP looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare setting.

**In this role, your responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theater and recovery area
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients during their recovery period
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and assisting with pain management
- Ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of patients to and from the recovery area
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- A recognized qualification as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Prior experience working as a Recovery Practitioner in a perioperative setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize your workload
