Are you a dedicated and experienced Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner (ODP) looking for a temporary opportunity to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in the UK? We have an exciting opportunity with Circle Health Group at King's Park Hospital in Stirling.

As a Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner (ODP), you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your main focus will be on patient recovery and ensuring their safe transition from the operating room to the recovery area. You will also work closely with the anaesthetists to monitor patients' vital signs and assist with administering anaesthesia when required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assessing patients' physical and psychological needs before surgery
- Preparing the surgical environment and equipment
- Assisting the anaesthetist during procedures
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and ensuring their stability
- Providing immediate post-operative care in the recovery area
- Administering medications and pain relief as prescribed
- Assisting with patient transfers to and from the operating room
- Ensuring accurate documentation of patient care and progress
- Adhering to strict infection control protocols
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

**Requirements**:

- Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
- Proven experience working in a similar role within a hospital setting
- Excellent knowledge of anaesthetic techniques and medications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
