Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner

**Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner (Temporary)**:
Circle Health Group is a leading healthcare provider that is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. We are currently seeking a Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner (ODP) to join our team at King's Park Hospital in Stirling, Scotland.

As a Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective recovery of patients following surgical procedures. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to patients throughout their recovery journey.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assessing patients' needs and planning appropriate care
- Providing pre-operative care and preparing patients for surgery
- Assisting in the anaesthetic process, including monitoring patients' vital signs
- Managing patients' pain and administering medications as required
- Monitoring and recording patients' post-operative recovery progress
- Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure smooth patient handover
- Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families
- Maintaining accurate documentation and completing relevant reports

**Requirements**:

- An accredited qualification as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a surgical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- A compassionate and caring nature

**Working Hours and Compensation**:
This is a temporary position with a start date of 08/02/2024 and an end date of 08/02/2024. The shift will start at 07:30:00 and end at 18:00:00. The payment rate for this position is £304.82 per shift.

**Location**:
You will be based at King's Park Hospital, located at Polmaise Road, Stirling, Stirling, FK7 9JH. The hospital offers state-of-the-art facilities and is situated in a beautiful and tranquil area.
