**Job Description - Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner (ODP)**: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner to join our team at King's Park Hospital, Polmaise Road, Stirling, Stirling, FK7 9JH. This is a temporary position for 24/11/2023 - 24/11/2023, working 07:30:00 to 18:00:00. The Payment Rate is £304.82 per shift. **Responsibilities**:As a Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner, you’ll be responsible for providing care and assistance to patients in the recovery area of our hospital. You’ll be primarily responsible for monitoring and maintaining patient comfort during and after anaesthetic procedures, and helping to provide post-operative care. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: - Assisting anaesthetists in preparing and administering anaesthetic medications. - Monitoring patients during their recovery process. - Taking and recording vital signs. - Providing post-operative care. - Administering medications as directed. - Performing daily patient rounds and assessing patient needs. - Assisting with patient transfers. - Assisting with and performing routine procedures. - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records. - Communicating with the nursing and medical staff to ensure the best possible care for patients. - Participating in the development and implementation of patient care plans. - Ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Operating Department Practitioner or its equivalent - Registered as an Operating Department Practitioner with the Health and Care Professions Council - Previous experience in anaesthetic nursing or recovery room nursing - Knowledge of general anaesthetic techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure - The ability to work as part of a team and independently
