About the role:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have at least 5 years of technical background in Materials Handling Hose and Rubber products. You should be an exceptional communicator who can effectively manage internal and external stakeholders and have a high level of commercial acumen. As a natural problem solver and decision-maker, you will have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to quickly absorb and impart highly technical information.

Job Scope:

- Develop a strong understanding of FLSmidth products with a major focus on Material Handling Hose, Hose Bends, Expansion Joints, and wear-related rubber and ceramic products.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of the client base and assigned regions.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to progress the company's business.
- Establish and nurture relationships with new clients and adjacent markets.
- Be effective in developing sales revenue and profitability, customer account management, and onsite service functions as required.
- Provide technical support for supplied products, dealing with customer maintenance and process personnel.
- Become conversant with the operational activities of the business unit, including quotation submittal and follow-up, product manufacture principles, and capabilities.
- Maintain a professional and effective approach in dealing technically and commercially with customers' inquiries at mine sites and sales/consulting EPCM offices.

What you bring:

- A minimum of 5 years of Materials Handling Hose and Rubber/Ceramic product experience.
- Exposure or knowledge of mining or mineral processing is desirable.
- Previous customer relationship management experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
