To be successful in the role you must come from a production environment and have experience in manufacturing planning. You will have excellent time management skills, with a high sense of urgency and ability to effectively prioritise your work. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, work well within a team and the ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate a win-win situation for all parties concerned. A high-level understanding of ERP is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide support in the technical order desk tasks within the Repair & Return division.
- Ensure that production orders are scheduled while optimizing manufacturing efficiencies using agreed planning methodologies and tools.
- Ensure that ERP dashboard actions and exception reports are managed for manufactured and raw material parts while optimizing on-hand inventory and meeting service requirements.
- Resolving shortages of purchased materials and customer expedites that require escalation through the plant.
- Ensure that appropriate material, plant, method and other master data are maintained in the ERP and other systems as necessary.
- Investigate root cause analysis for schedule adherence failures for the plant and participate in improvement initiatives.
- Assist Supervisor and/or Operations Manager as required or directed.

What you bring:

- Must have at least 3 years of experience with ERP systems in a production planning environment using MRP.
- High standard of technical skills relevant to the role.
- A good understanding of basic project management methodologies.
- Well-developed relationship skills in a business environment.
- Ability to work in a team or individually on multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships with strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast paced, changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to work with customers, contractors and other personnel on a daily basis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced utilising ERP database systems i.e. Pronto, SAP or similar systems.
