We are looking for a full-time permanent **general administrator **to join our team at Stoneleigh Park The role will involve the following:
- 1. **General Admin**

Ø Embryo Transfers - imputing flush forms, chasing DNA for donor dams and sires, chasing correct zootechnical certificates for imported embryos, inputting ET birth registrations, sending out correct DNA bags, checking the DNA letter to member and releasing certificates, assisting members with any questions they may have.

Ø Inspections - sending out inspection requests to NMR along with relevant DNA bags and writing to the members. Chasing the inspection results and releasing animals once the DNA results are back. Arranging further weight checks if required.

Ø Membership - Inputting new members on to ILR2, updating Audis with new DDI’s, sending out new member packs, assisting new members with questions they may have.

Ø Administering the scanning credits to members

Ø Issuing show awards to members for the Shows.

Ø General herd book queries

Ø Assisting all members of staff with any queries they have

Ø Processing all work orders and closing ILR2 at month end and sending SRUC the pedigree extract.

Ø Assisting members with ILROnline

Ø Receipting all cheques and bank receipts and releasing relevant certificates and transfers for client.

Ø Sending out pedigree certificates and request for information sheets on a weekly basis for client.

Ø Liaising with the client’s team and accountant as required regarding queries.

Ø Helping with general herd book enquiries

Ø Month-end reports, reconciliations and sending out customer statements for the client.

Ø Processing all work orders and closing ILR2 at month end and sending SRUC the pedigree extract for the client.

Ø Sorting out the TCS requests and the monthly TCS extract for the client.

Ø Embryo Transfers for the client - imputing flush forms, chasing DNA for donor dams and sires, chasing correct zootechnical certificates for imported embryos, inputting ET birth registrations, sending out correct DNA bags, checking the DNA letter to member and releasing certificates, assisting members with any questions they may have.

Ø Adding receipts for client to system and checking if pedigrees can be released.

2. **Performance Recording**

Ø Enter weigh and scanning information onto system, from paper, online and phone.

Ø Ensure data is entered on time for the next BLUP (Best Linear Unbiased Prediction) herd analysis.

Ø Ensure reports have uploaded correctly to the database.

Ø Print reports and weigh sheets for members that require them.

Ø Check and verify outlier reports.

Ø Run general admin reports

Ø Answer any query from members, liaise with ABRI on complicated queries.

Ø Attend Breedplan meetings and take minutes.

Ø Setup new members and send information.

Ø Once a year run active cow lists and update the system to subsequently run the annual billing.

3. **Other responsibilities**

Ø Assisting with keeping office supplies replenished.

Ø Taking meeting room bookings and making sure the room is set up and teas & coffees are ready for the external client.

Ø Answering the telephone and dealing with any queries as well as registering calves

This role requires the applicant to be flexible in their working attitude to deliver on aspects of the role. From time-to-time the society may ask for additional tasks to be completed as required outside of this job description as per the society’s needs.

**A cattle farming background would be advantageous for this position but is not essential.**
