The Role

You will ensure that all administrative tasks are completed to a high standard and within the necessary time frame. You will be working closely with the transport team to ensure that all transport activities are monitored and managed effectively. You will communicate with drivers on shift and update them on working processes in line with our company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage transport related paperwork, including transport permits, insurance, and maintenance records.
- Use transport management software to track and monitor vehicle movements and deliveries.
- Answering phones, following up with customers about orders and delivery times.
- Dealing with customer queries and complaints
- Having excellent communication with drivers, sales team, production team and customers to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Prepare and present reports and statistics to management.
- Have a good telephone manner
- Be methodical and have good communication skills.
- Work well within a team.
- Pay attention to detail whilst under pressure ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently.
- Have good organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Do ad hoc jobs as required.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, word)
- 8am - 4pm. Able to work Saturdays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
