**The Opportunity**

We are currently hiring for a Junior Data Coordinator at our office in Gloucester Business Park. The Junior Data Coordinator sits within the Programme Office Group and will build sufficient knowledge regarding the process and structure, to provide governance and oversight to stakeholders.

You will provide support to a range of teams within the Nuclear Operations business including technical and finance teams, building a sufficient understanding of their systems and data to support delivery of their objectives, enable them to plan and manage their portfolio of technical work and maximise their technical output.

You will participate in development forums to define and deliver solutions required by the business to drive performance and aid decision making.

The role is based at Gloucester, working to a hybrid model working in the office 2 days a week.

We can offer a competitive salary from £28,422 - £34,641 and you’ll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Nuclear Operations Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.

**What you’ll be doing**

In this role, you will work closely with the Work Management Process Lead to assist with the provision of management information (finance, performance, people) and analysis, to the Technical Directorate. Your duties will include the following:

- Utilise an enhanced analytical capability (descriptive, diagnostic and predictive analysis) to deliver identified improvement activities to enhance the levels of governance and oversight within teams.
- Provide management information and analysis to teams.
- Work closely with different functions and programmes to ensure Work Management process is adhered to and deliver key insights on non-technical performance and provide intrusive oversight to accountability processes.
- Undertake analytical activities and deliver accurate, timely and useful analysis outputs, in a clear and easy-to-digest way, to enable decision making by the business.
- Build a deep understanding of the data and processes to ensure data integrity is maintained and to identify gaps / areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders from across the business to understand and deliver their data and analysis requirements.
- Act as contact for guidance for other members of the Programme Office Group for business processes, finances and reporting, analysis and dashboard development.
- Support the Work Management Process through detailed analysis and insights on key metrics such as finances, identifying and analysing any relevant trends.
- Have good working knowledge of data visualisation tools, such as PowerBI.
- Encourage and advocate organisational learning within your work and with your peers.
- Work closely with the other members of the Programme Office Group, and other stakeholders across the business to provide accurate, useful and timely information to inform accountability and decision-making.

**Who you are**

You’ll have strong data analytics skills and be experienced in analysis techniques, statistical methods and data visualisation.

You will need good commercial and financial awareness, ideally with prior knowledge of financial systems.

Strong organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders both inside and outside of the team.

You will possess an investigative and robust questioning attitude and the desire to advocate a continuous improvement culture and lead through change activities, whilst maintaining quality delivery of the core service.
