**The Role - People Administrator**

The People Administrator is an intrinsic part of our People Team. This role is often 'all things to all people' so this role can provide excellent career development opportunities.

As this role is central to all the key operational requirements to ensure that the Employee Life Cycle with Oodle is smooth and seamless, it provides much scope for personal growth..

The role is responsible for a range of duties including pre-employment screening, firmwide employee checks, onboarding new colleagues, some employment support and advice and other general administrative tasks and employee queries.

You will enjoy working on our various People Platforms to ensure colleague engagement, overseeing health & wellbeing initiatives, our Recognition schemes and being a key touch point for line managers.

You will work closely with our Head of People and be instrumental in ensuring that we deliver against our People Strategy. Overall you will be exposed to the whole People function and have an opportunity to grow, evolve and learn and ensure your own career progression.

**Who you'll be working for and where**

You will be joining the People Team and will report to our Head of People. Our People Team and colleagues are based across 3 locations and so you may thus work remotely circa 3-4 days per week whilst supporting the business. Our 3 locations are Oxford, London and Manchester.

**Responsibilities**

Pre-employment Screening
- Issuing pre-employment screening checks and analysing them in detail
- Complete employment and education references for new starters
- Identifying queries in relation to the checks, and escalating issues to the team when necessary
- Ensuring all checks are completed accurately and within the correct time scales (in line with FCA regulations and our Employee Screening Check Policy)
- Running checks against the CIFAS database, Experian and HEDD Verification
- Checking and countersigning new starter ID Documentation
- Assisting with annual firm-wide checks and probation end checks

Administration and Onboarding
- Other administration tasks as and when necessary, some of these may include supporting HR Inbox queries, updating employee files, onboarding new starters, employment contracts and resignations.

Project support
- You will have the opportunity to work along the People Team to ensure that key HR Initiatives are landed well and effectively.
- You will support monthly reporting on key People data and metrics, often working closely and aligned with the Payroll Department
- You will play a key role in supporting the management of our Health & Wellbeing Initiatives

Communication & Engagement
- You will take a key role in ensuring that are colleagues are engaged and recognise and thus oversee our Recognition Schemes
- You will have a direct influence in the benefits package that our colleagues receive and ensure that activity such as our Rewards platforms are visible to all, engaging and relevant
- You will work closely with our pension provider to ensure that financial wellbeing in the beings is top of agenda for all
