Head of Finance

Simpson Judge are partnered with a client in the property sector who are looking to appoint a dynamic, hands on Head of Finance into their friendly team in Sale. This is a key role in the organisation to support the Managing Director and Executive team and will be responsible for managing the day to day finance function, producing management accounts, creating efficiencies and driving the business forward. This role will suit someone ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong management accounts and team management experience. Part time hours may also be considered.

**Responsibilities**:

- Production of management accounts, including frequent reporting to the Directors on business performance
- Overseeing the handling of client monies and accounting operations
- Managing and coordinating HR and recruitment responsibilities within the accounts team.
- Reviewing the businesses requirements and strategy - creating efficiencies and improvements where necessary
- Working with the Directors and the Executive management team to ensure cohesion with the overall operation of the business
- Reporting and monitoring bad debt provision and assisting the operational recovery of debts
- Overseeing payroll responsibilities
- Responsible for all VAT, HRMC and legislative duties
- Liaising with and reporting to external accountants and internal Group Accountant

**Requirements**:

- Qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Property experience would be advantageous
- Experience of handling client monies
- Strong leadership skills
- Xero experience would be beneficial
