We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Credit Control Team Leader to join our team. Based at our head office based in Sale, you will play an important role in furthering the success of the company, leading a strong team of Credit Controllers.
Customer service lies at the core of our operations, requiring a willingness to exceed expectations. We are looking for someone who cares about the people around them and is willing to go the extra mile.
**Responsibilities**
As the Team Leader, you will oversee the Credit Control Team and work closely with tenants and clients. Here’s a list of some of the responsibilities.
- Responsible for monitoring and driving internal KPI’s
- Producing weekly arrears reports across multiple brands
- Responsible for Training, Developing and Coaching the Credit Control Team
- Perform regular 1-2-1s and Appraisals
- Managing and litigating bad debt
- Production of weekly and monthly reports
- Participation in weekly client meetings and
- Identifying correct lines of reporting and escalating queries to ensure swift resolution of client issues
- Ability to step up and support your team when facing difficult situations with tenants
- Managing debt cases and liaising with solicitors
- Occasionally attending court hearings
- Supporting the team with Debt chasing during busy periods
- Management and maintenance of payment plans
- Handling rent insurance claims

- Prior experience in a Credit Control role would be preferred
- Prior staff development experience is beneficial
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong conflict management

Pay: Up to £31,500.00 per year
