Seeking an Office Administrator to join our client, a well-established Building Services Consultancy based in Newcastle.

As the new Office Administrator, you will join the business on a full-time basis, working 09:00-17:00 (1 hour break) from their offices.

What you'll be doing:
Secretarial Support
- Providing administrative support to the Engineering Team, typing letters/correspondence and design specifications.
- Proof reading; an excellent standard of English is required.

Finance Support
- Undertaking a variety of finance tasks using Xero, this will include processing invoices and raising sales invoices.
- Reconciling weekly bank statements.
- Submitting the company quarterly VAT returns.

General Office Support
- Management of incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintaining office supplies including stationery and refreshments.
- Data input of annual leave and sickness.
- Monthly Expenses and Timesheets.
- Managing filing systems and storage.
- Undertake preparation for Audits and Reviews.

What you'll need
- Previous administration experience working in a small office.
- Knowledge of Xero or similar accountancy software is desirable.

On offer is a salary of £18,000-£20,000.
