Operational Leadership Coach

Location: Bexhill, Leicester, or London

Role purpose

We are currently recruiting for an Operational Leadership Coach to join our growing L&D team. You will have overall accountability for coaching and on-going development of our leaders across Claims.

Day to Day:
- Provide leadership coaching to Sustain, Stretch, Onboard and Evolve our Band 3 leaders and responsible for coaching, observing, and adapting to the needs of the operation in terms of areas and teams of focus using data to inform- Proactively source/create innovative solutions and development for the organisation by researching leadership and learning externally- Deliver digital, tech-enabled, and blended learning experiences to scale learning experiences to all colleagues- Consult and influence at all levels of leadership to enable successful learning outcomes and provide weekly coaching observations & feedback reporting on any themes and providing solution orientated plans to resolve any gaps in needs- Support delivery of OLE programme of learning, advocating the programme and being relevant point of contact, helping evolve the program as needs for the organisation evolve- Collaborate with CCLs to share progress, identify areas of opportunity and align to areas of focus to drive performance of team leaders through quality coaching conversations- Ready to work cross functionally and across teams depending on demand but consistent in terms of delivery and desire to drive performance.- Input to updates, reports, plans and capability tracking into leader for comprehensive reporting, measures of success and data informed decisions to be made.

- Outcome mindset - ability to focus on ‘the bigger picture’ and drive decision making to ensure we meet our organisational goals- Ability to coach and support your team to build capability and high performance including interpreting data to identify opportunities for improvement along with reporting on success of learning- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mind-set and effective problem-solving skills- Role models through ad hoc delivery of learning and able to support in the design of materials where required- Prepared to roll their sleeves up to help and support the team, having fun in the process- Strong written communication skills with the ability to tell a story in written form

Knowledge & Experience- Experience in a relevant L&D leadership role with passion for people development, leadership, and coaching- Experience working to exacting deadlines and leading self and others through high volume paced delivery/ change- Experience in managing a variety of stakeholders- Knowledge of building capability in an operations environment- Experience in designing and delivering blended learning solutions (including digital design)
