**Parts Business Development Executive**
**Salary circa £25,000 basic - OTE Circa £30,000 + Benefits**
**Company vehicle and fuel card**
Clemence Rogers are working with our large client in the search of a Business development Executive for their busy Parts department.
**Main Responsibilities:
Seek out & develop new parts, service, and sales opportunities within the defined market area for existing operators, through market research (including IHS software), local knowledge (including close communication with the relevant Depot, Parts, and SalesManagers), and promotional campaigns.
To arrange regular customer meetings & reviews to highlight the services offered by the client, and to liaise with parts, service, and van & truck sales to highlight any opportunities which may become apparent.
To provide regular feedback to the Key Account Manager on all activities and opportunities within the market area, and to assist in formulating business development strategies, local marketing campaigns, and achieving company sales targets & KPIs
**Key requirements for the role:
- Previous experience working in a busy Parts operation. Parts Factor experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Technical awareness of motor vehicles, including trailer parts desirable but not essential.
- Good parts market knowledge
- Good understanding of Truck, Trailer and consumables market
- Parts sales and marketing experience
- Understanding and background of branch parts operations
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet job requirements
- Ideally based within or close to territory
- Knowledge of Autoline 8.35/Kerridge system and AS400 is an advantage
