To provide clerical and administrative support to Plastic Surgery service line.

**Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.**

To follow Trust procedures for the requesting of patient casenotes in time to ensure adequate preparation and ensuring that the Patient Document Tracing (PDT) system is kept up to date with the movement of patient casenotes both into and out of the department.

To assist teams with sending out letters. Letters will be sent to patients, GP’s, and other health professionals.

Carry out administration tasks as appropriate, this includes printing, photocopying, scanning, filing, collating information.

To assist with adhoc urgent administration requests

Requesting and Tracing Notes for filing.

General Filing within the Department.

Take appropriate actions with regard to telephone calls from patients, GPs and other agencies using initiative, in adherence to Trust guidelines.

Opening the post and distributing within the Department.

Distribution of notes to be sent to and received from coding.

Locating notes within the Department to trace and place in post for other Departments.

Daily collection of clinics from clinical areas, trace them in and store them alphabetically in the office.

Printing of referrals from Referrals inbox and distributing to appropriate consultants.

Preparing notes to be sent to Rowan House for operating lists.

Transcribing of letters from Big Hand and filing in notes once approved.

General administration and support for the Medical Secretaries.
