**Job summary**:
Due to another successful year of growth, new projects and keeping people safe, HSE are excited to be able to welcome up to 45 Administrative Officers to our diverse teams across a variety of business areas. This is including;
- Chemical Regulations (5x vacances for full-time 37 hours or part-time to 22+ hours, 1x vacancy available full-time or part-time 30 hours minimum).
- Energy Division (available for full-time, part-time and job share).
- Chemicals, Explosives and Microbiological Hazards (available for full-time or job share).
- Building Safety Regulations (available for full-time or job share).
- Information, Technology and Facilities - (Available full-time or job share).
- Planning Finance and Procurement (PFPD) - (Available full-time only).

**Job description**:
As an Administrative Officer, you are the foundations of our operational delivery and play a pivotal role in helping us deliver important projects and business objectives.

Within each division, your role may vary slightly in regards to the breadth and scale of projects, but the backbone of the roles remains the same - working together with your colleagues to deliver an exceptional service.

**Person specification**:
**In general, you will be;**
- Providing a sound administrative support to your wider team to meet business objectives.
- Working with division-relevant systems and programmes ranging from Microsoft Word and Excel through to HR systems.
- Providing a consistently good customer service, ensuring any queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Providing assistance to your colleagues on any projects and work activities.
- Overseeing compliance in regards to any data entry/management such as updating records.
- Liaising with other teams and divisions across the business where needed.

To succeed in these roles, you will be;
- A team player, able to communicate and build effective relationships with your colleagues within your team and across the business.
- Well-organised, able to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines.
- Able to deliver a consistent customer service.
- Adept or have exposure to using Microsoft packages such as Word and Outlook.

- A critical thinker, confident in suggesting innovative solutions and suggestions to issues and queries where appropriate.

Interviews will be conducted via Launchpad, allowing you to record your interview within a designated timeframe.
