Executive Assistant/PA
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
An opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant/PA to work for a Management Consultancy, This company works alongside a variety of organisations within the Education and Economic Development sector.
This is a work-from-home position that will include regular meetings in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Duties will normally be carried out remotely, so you will need to be highly efficient with remote working using Sharepoint, Teams and Zoom.
This position would be suited to Executive Assistants and PA’s who have extensive experience managing C Level Managers e.g. Chief Executives, Chief Operating Officers.
The package available for the position of Executive Assistant and PA
- Basic salary between £30000- £35000 pro rata.
- Remote working
- Laptop and phone provided
Purpose of the role of Executive Assistant/PA
- Be responsible for managing Senior Managers’ and Consultant diaries
- Providing inbox management support, to ensure their time is managed efficiently
- Handling highly confidential internal and external information with professionalism and discretion.
- Co-ordinate and book travel arrangements to include hotel bookings and trains
- Providing critical administrative support to the partners and head of business operations, including preparing meeting agendas and minutes; maintaining comprehensive online files.
- Organising quarterly meetings and annual staff conferences
- Co-ordinate the associate pool of independent consultants that the company works with including management of annual leave and sickness absence, staff expenses, and performance management arrangements.
- Support client proposals and deliverables by coordinating input from colleagues
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required for the role of the Executive Assistant/PA
- Extensive experience working as an Executive Assistant/PA in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing multiple Directors’ workloads at C Level
- such as Chief Executive, Chief Operating Officer
- A proven track record in managing multiple Directors’ diaries, which is ever-changing by the hour
- Experience in the Education sector and facilitating large projects would be a real advantage
- Demonstrates outstanding time management with a forensic eye for detail and the ability to exceed set deadlines
- Experience working for new business start-ups, would be highly desirable.
- Excellent IT Skills, with extensive knowledge of using Share Point
- Excellent communication skills which include strong verbal reasoning and outstanding ability to prepare clear, succinct business documents
