Residential Child Care Officer

We are a residential Special School for children aged 7 to 14 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. Residence operates Monday to Friday, term time only. This ‘OUTSTANDING’ Residential facility operates with up to 8 pupils sleeping in each night as well as an extensive after school activities programme which runs from Monday to Thursday nights.
We currently have a vacancy to join our small yet experienced team.
Residence underpins the whole school community approach of working together to ensure all our pupils needs are met.
As a team we provide child focussed residential and after school experiences based around building positive relationships with young people.
The Governors are looking to appoint an experienced individual who has worked in an environment where children can display challenging behaviour.
