**Title: Purchasing Assistant / Operations & Planning Co-ordinator**
***NEW IN MATERNITY COVER PURCHASER/OPERATIONS CO-ORDINATOR ROLE**
**Our client, based in Stourport requires an Purchaser/Operations Co-Ordinator to join their team for full-time work. The role is for maternity cover for a furniture company.**
**Responsibilities of the Purchaser/Operations Co-Ordinator Role**:
- Raising purchase orders.
- Liasing with relationship managers.
- Raising purchase orders for raw materials from bill of materials for each project.
- Maintaining stock levels and checking when dropped below minimum levels.
- Managing and maintaining delivery and install schedule.
- Booking hotels for fitters on overnight jobs.
- Keeping track of projects throughout the planning and manufacturing process.
- Liasing with the machine shop manager and assembly shop supervisor on projects.
**Requirements of an Purchaser/Operations Co-Ordinator**:
- Experience in purchasing, placing orders, speaking with suppliers.
- Works well within a busy team environment.
- Being able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
**Hours & Pay**:
- Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 17:00pm
- Friday 08:00am - 16:00pm
- £12.51 - £14.82 per hr (Depending on experience)
