As Project Support Officer you will play a vital role in the delivery of the DigitalHealth.London flagship Accelerator - a programme which supports digital health companies to develop and scale solutions to some of the NHS’s most pressing challenges. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing team of passionate individuals who have supported a range of pioneering young companies like Babylon, AccuRx, Perfect Ward, Visionable and Patchwork.

You’ll lead on the organisation of the programme’s events drawing on DigitalHealth.London’s vast network of expertise across healthcare, research, innovation, and technology. You will have experience in, or show a strong interest in, stakeholder engagement and outreach which will allow you to support multiple projects throughout the year including the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator, DigitalHealth.London Launchpad, and our research arm, the Generator.

We are looking for an individual who has a proven interest in healthcare technology and innovation, with strong project support officer skills, or excellent organisational skills with a willingness to learn.

To be successful, you’ll have experience organising events and in supporting large-scale projects, with multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be proactive, highly organised, a fast learner and energetic. You will bring enthusiasm for your involvement in the day-to-day running of DigitalHealth.London’s exciting programmes.

About the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator

The Accelerator is a part of DigitalHealth.London, a programme aiming to speed up the development and scaling of digital innovations across health and care. The Accelerator works with 20-30 high potential start-ups and SMEs each year, at any stage of the innovation cycle, and supports them to develop and deploy solutions to some of the most pressing challenges facing the NHS. The DigitalHealth.London Accelerator is a collaborative programme funded by London’s three Academic Health Science Networks - UCLPartners, Imperial College Health Partners, and the Health Innovation Network, MedCity, CW+ (Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Charity) and receives match funding from the European Regional Development Fund - please see below.

About the Health Innovation Network

The DigitalHealth.London team is hosted by the Health Innovation Network (HIN) - the Academic Health Science Network for South London. The HIN is hosted by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. The HIN is a membership organisation and drive lasting improvements in patient and population health outcomes through the spread and adoption of innovation into practice and capitalising on teaching and research strengths throughout the health system in South London and wider afield.
