As a Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role within the team, managing transactional tasks in sales and purchase ledgers, cash book processing, and point-of-sale income. You will also serve as a primary point of contact for financial queries within the organisation, working closely with another Finance Assistant and reporting to the Financial Controller.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate the Xero Accounts system for key ledgers.
- Process sales and purchase invoices/credit notes along with associated receipts and payments.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve queries.
- Set up customer/supplier accounts and provide aged reports as required.
- Proactively manage and process expenses.
- Process cash book transactions and reconcile the cash position to bank statements.
- Ensure processing information is efficient and meets audit standards.
- Maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
- Solve problems as they arise.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Xero and integrated products. (desirable)
- Experience in transactional input and working in an accounts team.
- Ability to effectively handle customer and supplier queries.
- Ability to multitask
- Flexibility and willingness to work as a team to achieve priorities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
