We are recruiting for a Finance Support Specialist to join our client's finance team in North Derbyshire. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.

About the Role:

This role involves providing financial support to the sales team by ensuring all areas of sales invoicing are accurately controlled and processed within agreed terms.

  • To guarantee timely collection of payments from customers;
  • To maintain accurate records and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring payments are collected from customers within agreed terms;
  • Assisting with sales invoicing and resolving any associated queries;
  • Allocating customer payments efficiently;
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations and effective service delivery;
  • Providing cover for other finance department members as required;
  • Engaging in the transition to a new ERP system;
  • Performing general administrative duties within the finance department.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an Accounts team and possess excellent IT skills, specifically in Excel.
