Purpose of the Role:

\.This role is a key member of the team, providing assistance and guidance to 10 unaccompanied asylum seeking young people within a 24 hour supported accommodation setting. The post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering nurturing person centred support that is bespoke to suit the needs of each individual accessing the service.\\_The support should assist residents in developing the skills required to settle into a new area, overcome barriers and learn skills towards independence. Some young people may have experienced significant trauma in their home country and on their journey to the UK. The post holder must be empathetic and patient, working closely with colleagues to provide comprehensive care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

\.A strong understanding of the needs of unaccompanied asylum seeking young people, along with experience in residential childcare or a related field, is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
