Data Quality Coordinator

The role's primary aim is to review and cleanse data by working with the Functional Analysts. In undertaking the work, once analysis has been completed using various tools, writing sql queries using TOAD to identify variances in data and extract records to be updated and reports. The role holder will either manually update records directly in the finance system or to monitor the dataload software used to automate the update of records. The cleansing of data in the finance system is imperative for a successful implementation of a new finance system under the Finance Transformation Programme. A good understanding of the data is essential. Effective and organised communication with module owners is essential.
