**Job Summary**:
The IT Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day requirements of hardware and software deployment across Cyted group companies. The IT Coordinator will ensure that tasks such as new employee equipment build and distribution, planned upgrades, hardware imaging, and ad-hoc tech requests are planned and delivered on time and to the highest service levels.

The IT Coordinator will be responsible for setting up the IT support function for the company. The role holder will use their previous experience in a similar role to shape the IT services for the company. They will co-ordinate the day-to-day management of the network and server infrastructure resources across Cyted group companies. The role holder will be responsible for the security of the company's computer systems and electronic data and the development and implementation of customised systems. They will oversee all computer-related activities.

The IT Coordinator will work with the teams at Cyted Group companies to ensure infrastructure and systems are put in place to deliver high quality IT solutions across the business. They will support a broad range of staff including administrators, laboratory staff and operations and software engineering teams. The role holder will contribute actively to the continuous improvement of company IT infrastructure and systems.

**Working Pattern and Location**:
The role is a full-time position with a standard 37.5 hour working week. The role holder will be required to work flexibly.

The IT Coordinator will be based at the Cyted’s Head Office, WeWork, 50-60 Station Road, Cambridge, CB1 2JH. The IT Coordinator will need to visit other company sites.

**What you will be doing**:

- Deploying MAC and PC’s for new starters including creation of user accounts.
- Ownership of the MDM enrolment process including licensing etc.
- Provide IT support and project management across the business.
- Plan and support rolling and impromptu IT upgrades for current staff.
- Implement and maintain an IT helpdesk ticketing management system, providing professional and high-level customer service to all internal and external users
- Particular focus on Cyber Security awareness and training
- Laptop and mobile device support including continuous inventory optimisation to meet business needs
- Ensure that disaster recovery processes are in place and reviewed regularly.
- Identify and implement solutions that meet business requirements and provide query support and best practice knowledge.
- Liaise with our external IT consultancy companies to support the IT infrastructure needs of Cyted group companies.
- Responsible for the setting up and configuration of new printers and other IT infrastructure devices.
- Assisting with IT projects and managing IT audits
- Documentation of compliance processes and procedures

**Person Specification**:

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Cisco certification
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in an IT management support role.
- An understanding of Google workspace as well as Office 365.
- Exposure to and understanding of software deployment and patch management
- Working in a fast-paced commercial environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects to tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to relate well to individuals at all levels.
- A can-do, flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
