**Purpose**
We are looking for a Head of People to develop and lead the People function for 100+ technical and consultancy staff, as well as our back-office teams, who mostly working remotely and from client’s sites. We are a high-performing and growing team, so this is a busy role but presents an exciting opportunity for the right person.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement People initiatives, projects and practices that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Develop and innovate communication tools based around the company SharePoint site for People matters.
- Develop and monitor overall People policies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organisation.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement People strategies and initiatives.
- Coaching and developing managers and senior managers to lead and deliver through their teams.
- Oversee and further develop a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and achievement of company goals.
- Assess training needs develop a Company Learning Plan.
- Ensure legal compliance and implement best practice across HR process and procedure.
- Lead in development and delivery of organisational initiatives and strategies e.g. EDI, sustainability.
- Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture.
- Work collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition Manager on talent attraction and management activity, plans and strategy.
**Requirements**:
- Proven working experience in a HR generalist role at a strategic level
- Experience advising and influencing senior decision-makers
- Experience developing company training plans
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and best practice
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Organised, self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- CIPD Qualification to level 7 is desirable
