Role Description
Panel Communications is the department responsible for ensuring that all panel members of the continuous panels operated by Kantar Worldpanel UK are both able and willing to carry out their regular data transmissions. They do so by providing a helpdesk service for panellists who are facing any issues with their equipment and by initiating compliance communications to any panel members who are regularly failing to perform the tasks expected of them.
Role Purpose
Panel members need a full understanding of the tasks they are expected to undertake for us, and the regularity of these, in relation to their panel membership. Many panel members need reminding of these commitments through a tailored communication program depending on their circumstances.
The purpose of this role is to grow and maintain our key panel metrics by ensuring that as many panel members as possible provide us with the data that we need. This will be achieved by communicating with newly recruited panel members to ensure that they understand the task, alongside encouraging existing panel members to maximise their participation.
This is a customer facing role with a commitment to providing service excellence and a rewarding customer experience through an engaging and friendly communication manner. You represent the brand image of Kantar to the public, some of whom may be interacting with us for the first time.
Main
**Responsibilities**:
New panel member onboarding:
- Where required, provide outbound telephone calls to newly signed up panel members to verify their details and understanding of the panel task before their membership can proceed.
- Sell the panel task to encourage their participation in a professional and supportive way.
- Provide an ongoing onboarding relationship with panel members, when necessary, to ensure any follow up calls are delivered until the member is fully established to provide ongoing data.
- Have a complete and thorough understanding of all aspects of panel membership so that any questions asked during panel onboarding calls can be answered clearly and consistently.
Outbound panel member communication:
- Complete outbound calls to existing panel members to encourage them to perform the panel task expected of them and provide basic support if technical issues are raised.
- Work as a team of Panel Advisors to cover a bulk panel compliance campaign in the time frame outlined by the Team Manager.
Data and information security:
- To respect the confidentiality of panel members personal information and to handle all communication and data in a responsible manner in accordance with GDPR, the Data Protection Act and all other legislative requirements.
- Carry out all required identification checks when communicating with a panel member to ensure you are speaking with the intended recipient of the information you are about to discuss.
- To understand and be able to follow all internal processes regarding data security - such as data erasure requests, logging these in the right places.
Measures of Success
- Outbound onboarding and compliance call targets are achieved.
- Panel critical metrics (eg. panel size, number of regular transmitters etc) are maintained according to the dashboard thresholds agreed with the Operations management team.
- Development of skills and capabilities through onboarding training upon initial recruitment, leading to a PDP and objective assessment once established in role.
- Maintaining and improving personal performance (both quantity and quality of communications) based on continued training and feedback provided by the Team Manager.
- Displaying a flexible mentality and attitude to deliver across a number of different panel enhancement initiatives during the course of the working week. Contributing through additional tasks and projects when requested.
