**What does a “day in the life” of my new team look like?**
You’ll have a strong analytical mind, knowing and understanding talent intelligence, audiences and market trends and the resulting impacts upon our clients. You’ll determine the appropriate methodology to gather data and uncover insights that inform strategy development, providing a strong foundation for others, and feed into all Talent Intelligence/Insight output.
The insights uncovered underpins the strategic direction that our colleagues work from. These insights also provide direction for channel choices and go-to-market strategies. Ensuring that data is gathered as efficiently and effectively as possible is critical. It must be then analysed in accordance with the scope of each TI/insights project.
**Responsibilities also include**:
- Creating and maintaining trusted partner relationships with all stakeholders to effectively communicate the impact of TI/Insights for account deliverables. This includes understanding client sourcing and recruitment requirements quickly to determine and communicate how Insights will support in achieving their goals
- Development of proposals for Talent Intelligence projects or contributing to Client Manager-led proposals where there’s an insight element to the solution
- Acting as a Trusted Advisor (SME) by developing and owning TI strategies and working in partnership with Regional MDs, Client Operation Directors, Sourcers, Recruiters, Attraction, Solution Design, Implementation, and Client.
- Meeting and presenting to Clients and Senior Stakeholders
- Being accountable for ensuring quality research findings are presented back to the client in a format that is digestible, providing clear insights and recommendations
- Gathering and sharing knowledge of Talent Intelligence and market trends and the resulting impacts upon our clients’ brands
- Working with the TI/Insights CoE, BI and AMS’ Market & Competitor Insights team, to establish what insights already exist within our business and identify gaps
- Showcasing TI/Insights to clients in pitches and art of the possible sessions
**What do I need to succeed in this role?**
**Must Haves**:
- Background in Talent Intelligence leadership, marketing or market research
- An analytical mindset and a passion for Insights
- Experience within the banking or financial services sector
- Ability to seek out market intelligence and analyse employment market trends to provide insights both internally and to clients
- Strong consulting skills and an ability to accurately diagnose a client’s challenges and develop holistic strategies to meet their objectives
- Problem-solving mindset
- Experience in producing and delivering presentations and reports to senior stakeholders both internal and external
- Confident in the use of technology - particularly PowerPoint, Excel and search engines
- Curiosity for new technology, market developments and innovation
**Nice to Haves**:
- Wider understanding of the full talent lifecycle and how the different functions work together
- Experience of working with remote teams
- Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft platforms, particularly PowerPoint
- Experience leading client meetings
- Previous experience as a Talent Intelligence Manager or similar
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Driven, open-minded and passionate

**Who will I be working with?**
You’ll lead the Talent Intelligence Strategy for Barclays, co-ordinating a team of experienced consultants. Reporting into the Head of Talent Intelligence, you’ll support as a people leader & expert of Talent Intelligence. You’ll work alongside Senior Stakeholders both internal and external driving a strategic approach to hiring.
