Glasgow Office Receptionist/administrator

**Hair Solved are at the forefront of what we do, we treat thousands of women each year with female hair loss issues. This is the opportunity to join a flexible and forward-thinking business as our Glasgow Salon Receptionist/Administrator.**
As reception/administrator you will ensure the smooth running of the office administrative processes, including reception and associated customer service. You will also assist the Operations Director.
**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
**The primary responsibilities associated with this role are as follows**:
- First point of contact and general assistance for clients
- To provide a reception service which includes phone cover, greeting clients.
- Handling all incoming calls and inquiries professionally, noting down adequate messages and re-directing calls as appropriate.
- Providing pro-active administrative support.
- Maintaining the general tidiness and professional appearance of the reception area
- Booking and arranging appointments.
- Typing, compiling and preparing reports and correspondence
- Dealing with facility issues for the company. Including; security alarm, waste, building repairs, equipment services and ordering products/sundries for the office
- Providing a comprehensive administration service to the operations director.
- Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post
**Skills, Experience & Knowledge**
**To be successful in the role of Office Receptionist/Administrator you will be an exceptional administrator with the ability to organise others. You will bring with you the following skills and experience**:
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (excel) and Mac Book programmes.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills with strong focus on providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to work both as part of a team and on an individual basis
- Clear understanding of confidentiality
- Positive, can-do, flexible attitude; high degree of integrity and professionalism; ability to remain composed under pressure
- Excellent organisation skills; ability to effectively plan and manage work, respond to conflicting demands on an urgent and ad-hoc basis and prioritise workload appropriately
