The Role:
Here at Cambridge City Council we like to get Compliance right. This is exactly where you come in.

You will be assisting with the delivery and ensuring compliance across the organisation, ensuring that we provide an efficient and effective service.

You will assist in the delivery of property related safety servicing and compliance programmes, ensuring that we meet and exceed our landlord statutory requirements.

You will also support with the delivery of the Building Safety and Compliance workstreams (Asbestos; Fire, Gas, Legionella, Electrical, Lifts) and ensure any actions resulting from the inspections are effectively delivered and will consistently demonstrate our values, creating positive working relationships with internal colleagues, external customers and stakeholders.

About You:
Detail minded and conscientious, you will be able to work independently and manage your own workload. Excellent verbal and written communicator with prior experience in a compliance role. You will understand the importance of legal and regulatory compliance in ensuring trust in an organisation with knowledge and prior experience of property compliance with data protection, freedom of information and procurement legislation and other building safety legislation.

With good ICT skills and well-developed communication skills, this role could be the one for you.
