Being a Care Coordinator with Huuman Kind Care is about more than just rota management. You will work alongside our existing Care Co-ordinator as well as be responsible for supporting the Manager with Recruitment, Business Growth, and ensuring we are always delivering the highest possible standard of care.

You must be a problem solver, able to think on your feet & have experience in rostering, care planning and assessments preferably in a Domiciliary Care environment.

Must be available for contact outside working hours to provide on call cover on a rota basis.

This is an office-based role. _**However, some care may be required if visits are outstanding or in an emergency. You will therefore need to be comfortable in completing personal care tasks as and when required.**_

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

- Co-ordinating the service including handling phone calls from clients, staff and professionals and dealing with enquiries.
- Completing staff rotas and allocating care calls and ensuring that all calls are covered.
- Supervising a team of carers.
- Undertaking client assessments, updates, risk assessments.
- To deliver and maintain the high standard of care we expect as a company.
- To effectively communicate with clients and staff ensuring delivery of an efficient and responsive service meeting the needs of clients.
- Managing client enquiries.
- Managing out of hours on-call duty, sharing amongst other senior members of the team.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year experience as a Care Co-ordinator (required)
- 2 years’ experience in a care role (required)
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 (required)
- NVQ Level 4 (desirable)
- Driver with access to a vehicle (required)
- Flexible working (required)
- Reliable and hard working

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: One location
