If so a leading multidisciplinary engineering firm who specialise in adding beauty and structure to communities through high-performance buildings and smart infrastructure are looking for an associate sustainability consultant. They also work in architecture, environmental and construction services and believe in creating a better future for communities through innovation, collaboration, and diversity.
**Responsibilities**:
As an Associate Sustainability Consultant, you will provide service line management and sustainability consultancy to clients.
You will work closely with other internal divisions and project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects, while also mentoring and guiding junior colleagues to support their professional development.
**Key responsibilities include**:
Undertaking day-to-day service line project delivery and management responsibility for nominated team members, including project management, client liaison, and leadership at project meetings.
Successfully managing all aspects of your specialist division's activities and services.
Ensuring successful management and delivery of modelling services to Clients in a timely, integrated, and technically proficient manner.
Proactively participating and managing team development activities, transfer of knowledge, and mentoring junior colleagues to support the achievement of individual, team, performance, and development objectives.
Identifying opportunities to invest, develop and offer new services within your service line Team and to support the technical delivery and offerings of the company as a whole in line with market requirements and expectations.
**Qualifications**:
A minimum of 8 years' experience working within an energy and sustainability environment within a recognized engineering practice.
**Form of accreditation in two or more of the following**: LCC, LCEA Level 5, or OCDEA.
Desirable to have a form of accreditation in any of the following: DEC ABBE / APEL, or ESOS.
Appropriate amount of people management experience, with the ability to demonstrate successful development of others.
Demonstrated experience in delivering Part L - Domestic, Part L - Non-domestic, EPCs - Domestic, EPCs - Non-domestic,, Thermal Comfort, Overheating, System optimization, Facade optimization, Climate Risk Overheating, Daylighting, and BREEAM credit modelling.
