**The advertised salary of £52,503 - £66,600 is for full time work, the salary for part time will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. The part time salary for 18 hours is £26,251 - £33,300**

The Enfield Safeguarding and Quality Service is looking to recruit a part time (18 hours) Independent Reviewing Officer/Child Protection Conference Chair.

In Enfield, this is a dual role with Independent Reviewing Officers chairing reviews for children and young people who are looked after as well as chairing child protection conferences. The post provides an exciting opportunity to influence the delivery of good social work practice and promote positive outcomes for children and young people. You will liaise closely with social work teams through consultation and have oversight of progression of plans for children. You will also support the Local Authority Designated Officer on a duty basis.

We use the Signs of Safety tool to inform our care planning, with child protection conferences, and reviews of children looked after now exclusively in person. In Enfield we are passionate about seeing children, parents and carers face to face.

We do provide flexible working, with IROs being able to plan and work from home outside of office-based meetings, conferences, and seeing children in placements

You are required to hold a relevant social work qualification and registered with SW England.
