Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Review Officer to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of housing law and the ability to complete complex reviews and appeals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out statutory reviews and appeals in a timely manner
  • Liaise with the Legal Department and Head of Service to defend legal challenges
  • Monitor and prepare reports on performance in respect of decision reviews and court cases
  • Develop procedures, guidelines, and model letter templates in relation to taking and processing applications
  • Stay up-to-date with current caselaw and legislation

Requirements:

  • Experience of carrying out complex housing enquiries and producing well-written, legally sound decisions
  • Ability to liaise with solicitors and other representatives on a regular basis
  • Highly detailed knowledge of current and emerging housing legislation and case law

Working Arrangements:

The role is remote, with occasional attendance at our offices. An urgent start is required, and the role is for an initial period of 3 months.
