The role will involve helping other team members to aid the smooth operation of the finance department, problem-solving skills and a strong ability to work with numbers is a must

This is a new position undertaking accounts administrative duties for Discover Parks Ltd, a group of three 5-star Caravan Holiday and Living Parks with leisure facilities set in beautiful rural surroundings in Herefordshire and the Welsh borders.

This interesting and varied role includes:

- Supporting the Finance Department and Finance Manager
- Working with Sage accounts, our Park Management software and Excel spreadsheets
- Assisting with the day-to-day bookkeeping requirements of the Company, including purchase and sales ledger, bank accounts, payments and credit control
- Entering and reconciling credit card and petty cash payments
- Assisting with raising invoices
- Providing administrative support to the finance department, including filing, printing, copying, archiving as required
- Supporting the Park Receptions by answering the telephone, covering absence, taking bookings, welcoming guests etc. as required
- Assisting with administrative duties of other departments, as required
- Assisting with events and open days, as required

This role is not just about the numbers, you will be involved in working within teams across the Parks and across the Company, with the potential to make a difference.

In this role, hours are negotiable based between 30-35 hours per week.

**About you**:

- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths) at Grade C/5 or above
- No previous finance experience is required however an interest in beginning your finance career is advised
- Must be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft including Excel
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- You must have a reliable method of commuting to work (we are not on a reliable bus route)
