Purchasing Administrator

SF Recruitment have partnered with an organisation in Redditch who are recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody to grow their purchasing skillset.
Salary - up to £26k
Responsibilities will include:
- Monitor Business Stock Levels using SAP MRP/ERP System
- Progress orders with supply chain, Identifying and reporting any potential risks
- Reschedule purchase orders to meet manufacturing shortages and update MRP/ERP system.
- Raise orders for internal purchase requisitions, and other items as required
- Analysis and reporting on cost spend and savings
- Compiling of daily/weekly reports on purchase order status to aid production
- Resolution of delivery / invoice queries with Warehouse and Finance teams
- To carry out ad hoc requisitions and non MRP related purchase order requirements
- Administration support within purchasing team
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors
- Other duties as and when required
Skills or experience
- Good IT literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook preferred
- Experience of Data Analysis identifying shortages stock usages
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems such as SAP would be an advantage.
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- Keen to learn and undertake training.
- Highly organised & attention to detail
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Confident communicator in person and via telephone
- Team player - self motivated

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
