We are looking to recruit an experienced and highly qualified outdoor practitioner to this exciting new role created within our thriving and innovative Outdoor Education department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has extensive experience in the outdoors (either school or centre based) to further their career in an educational setting that appreciates and values outdoor learning.

They will need to be able to operate in a wide range of challenging environments both individually and as part of a team, whilst maintaining safety and inspiring young people to challenge themselves and take risks.

They will also need to manage and mentor staff, leading by example with exemplary practice, and a willingness to embrace new ideas as well as further their own professional development.

They will be involved in the strategic planning for the department and will lead regular residential outdoor activities and expeditions both in the UK and abroad.
