Job Introduction
We're looking to appoint a Lifting Examiner to join our team in the East London area.

**About the role**

Visiting our MEP Hire branches and customer sites you will offer thorough examinations of fleeted low level access machines and lifting equipment in line with LOLER and PUWER regulations.

**Key responsibilities**
- You will ensure all equipment which has been made available for examination is thoroughly tested and examined to meet regulation requirements.
- Ensure MEP Hire locations have sufficient areas of storage/segregation for lifting equipment
- Ensure the equipment quality reaches the required standard across the board

**What we’re looking for**
- You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
- NVQ Level 2 in plant maintenance or thorough examination - Desirable
- IPAF CAP qualification - Desirable
- LEEA (or similar) qualifications - Preferable
- Willingness to complete LEEA certification essential if not already holding the Entrance examination
- IPAF operators card; category 3a - Preferable
- Practical knowledge/experience of low level access machines and material handling equipment - Essential
- Valid full UK driving licence - Essential
