MLA are a small business, providing protective equipment to Police, Prisons and NHS nationally. We employ local people, who are professional, agile and friendly.
We are looking for an assistant to the Director to handle all daily tasks required in an efficient manner.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following;
- Provide administrative support to the Director
- Scheduling appointments and orgainsing diary entries
- Setting reminders for meetings, appointments and other important tasks
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Making travel and Hotel arrangements
- Planning conferences, workshops, seminars and other events
- Taking notesat meetings, preparing minutes and subsequently distributiing to all participants
- Liaising with other members of staff and external parties such as clients and press
- Preparing expense reports and maintaing a filing system

- Proficient in administrative tasks and office procedures
- Excellent typing and clerical skills
- Familiarity with computerized systems and software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
