**Position**: Specialist LD Lead

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage staff teams, providing guidance, training, and support in day-to-day operations.
- Demonstrate expertise in handling different learning difficulties, such as autism, Down syndrome, and intellectual disabilities, particularly in a supported living environment.
- Develop and implement effective Positive Behavioral Support (PBS) plans tailored to individual needs.
- Create contingency plans for emergencies and oversee their implementation as needed.
- Maintain professionalism and effectiveness in handling challenging situations, including behavioral crises.
- Ensure compliance with HR procedures and regulatory requirements in all aspects of care delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and external stakeholders to optimize care and support for individuals with LD.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience within the field of learning disabilities, preferably in supported living.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff teams.
- Resilient and dynamic approach in managing staff and client interactions.
- Knowledge and understanding of various learning difficulties and their management.
- Skilled in creating and implementing PBS plans and contingency measures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Understanding of HR procedures, safeguarding practices, and CQC regulatory standards in care settings.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
